    Contacts and Resources

The mission of the Counseling Department at Summit Elementary is to create a safe and supportive atmosphere that ensures all students are personally and academically successful. Our school counselor and other mental health staff provide developmentally appropriate individual and group guidance and counseling activities for students. These activities help students develop an understanding of themselves as well as the rights and needs of others. The counselor helps students learn to resolve conflicts and define individual goals that reflect personal interests, abilities, and aptitudes. Reach out for information, or to discuss a family or student concern.
