Dear Cville Schools families,

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, during this school closure our School Nutrition team will be distributing meals to CCS students from 12-2pm at Charlottesville Middle School (formerly Buford). Please use the 9th St. SW entrance–look for Student Meal Site signs (pictured). Meals will be packaged to-go. 

Please follow these instructions for picking up meals:

• Arriving by car: Enter from 9th St, SW, drive past the construction trailers on your left and pull up to the Kitchen door marked C3 before you get to the trash dumpsters (again, look for Student Meal Site signage). Please do not come before noon and do not get out of your vehicle. Someone will come out to assist you.

• Arriving on foot: Enter from 9th St. SW and look for the Student Meal Site signage. Be aware of vehicular traffic. Be prepared for slush and look out for potential icy spots.  Someone will come out to assist you at the Kitchen door marked C3.

Please be aware that due to federal guidelines, we can provide these meals only to current CCS students, not family members or other individuals. For additional food resources, see this post from our Family and Community Engagement Team.
